We had such a great time in Cabo. It was a little hard to come to terms with the fact that because we are now parents we will never have another "easy" vacation again. But, I went with pretty low expectations of having a REAL vacation and most of the time I was pleasantly surprised. For example, Natalie was a CHAMP on the flight down. Hardly made a peep and smiled at anybody who would look her way. I think we both needed a little human interaction! The weather was a little cooler than we had anticipated for the first few days but I guess it saved us all from getting a horrible burn too early on the trip. Some of the family was delayed and ended up having to stay two nights in Vegas before availablity opened up on a flight to Cabo. Bummer. The Davis family arrived on the 24th, yippee! The only downside was their resort was a little farther away than we had originally thought, so it wasn't as easy to just "come over and hang out" as we would have liked. Okay, here are some of the highlights from week one.
