Dylan...one funny kid.

Dylan was the funniest character of the trip, hands down. The first day he hit the beach running and didn't slow down. Home slice almost caught himself a pelican that same day, which Whitley later nearly stepped on, so I guess catching it wouldn't have been THAT impressive since it must have been very old, or severely retarted. The next morning he woke up and was in serious pain from running in all of that sand. He couldn't even walk so he had to be carried everywhere. Even when we went down to the pool he was crawling and dragging his knees along the concrete. His legs must have really hurt if the concrete felt that much better. (See above picture.) For the most part he was a trooper and kept up with all of the grown ups. One night at dinner he was so tired he literally fell asleep while holding a tortilla chip to his lips. Funniest thing I ever did see, unfortunately, I don't have a picture of that moment. He survived the scary boat ride over to Lover's Beach and learned how to blow a Mexican whistle and even held my hand one night on the walk to the Marina!
