Last night, just before bed, we went out to watch Adam finish mowing the lawn. You can imagine my amusement to see my brother decked out in a wool ski hat and goggles, but I could not have predicted Natalie's reaction. She would just stare at him go around and around. He would wave, she would just stare. It seemed as though she couldn't figure out who in the world the crazy man was on the lawnmower. Finally, Adam started lifting up the goggles when he'd wave and she would get the biggest smile on her face as she began to recognize him. But if he tried to wave without removing the goggles, she would just stare at him like he was a complete stranger. It was pretty funny! In her defense, who seriously mows the lawn in ski gear?
