We can truthfully say we have been full participants in the Spring Festival activities. Friday we went to the Amphitheater and watched Kaitlyn dance. It was horrible weather but the company was great! Daishan and her girls came to watch with us. I really miss having her around. I ate my first corn dog in ages and LOVED it. What is it about fair food that tastes so wonderful in that setting, but anywhere would be mildly disgusting?
Saturday was the 3-on-3 tournament and Adam's team did pretty well. (in my experienced opinion.) Josh and I finished the tournament with another stop at the food booths where he had a corn dog, and I had a gyro. Again, delicious. Then we drove to Othello for my cousin's wedding which was so nice. She was a beautiful bride and there was such a good feeling throughout the whole wedding. Natalie was OBSESSED with her little cousin, Logan. Could not stop staring at him and would not stop grabbing his hands and making him play pat-a-cake.
Finally, we joined Beth, Carey, Cindy and Dominic for the parade. It was the most fun Natalie has had. She has mastered the wave and was clapping and singing along with the floats and the bands. She even entertained us with a game of peek-a-boo with Dominic!

You're so right about fair food. I told Ande as we were walking through the park, "Man, get a whiff of that grease. Doesn't it just smell so good?"
I'm glad you had such a fun weekend.
Holy Cow!!! I found your blog through Jami's and found her's through Rischel's...I love the boggin world!!! You are the cutest and your little girl is a doll!!! I hook up with Tammy Cramer almost every Friday.. and we always wonder how you are doing. Anyways, it's great to see you again (at least in the photos!)
I hope you don't mind that I look at you blog every once and a while. Your little girl is so cute. I hope things are going well. Talk to you soon. By the way I love the greasy fair food too.
Okay...so after three straight blasts from the past you may consider joining the witness protection program, but this is Derek Petersen. I was talking to Charlie recently and he mentioned you had a blog so I figured I could check Audrey's blog list and find you through somebody (you're on Rachel's list so blame her). How are you? In the spirit of reciprocity, here is the link to our blog (okay...it's Audrey's blog): http://peterepete-audrey.blogspot.com/. Very fun to see your daughter; she is beautiful.
