Carter Tagged Natalie

Natalie's cousin (second cousin?) Carter tagged her a while ago, and I've put it off long enough! Here are eight fun facts about my number one girl!
1- She prefers kitchen gadgets to toys any day. Her absolute favorite toy is the red silicone basting brush. She flicks drool everywhere, but she is sooo happy while she's doing it. The measuring spoons and spatula are probably tied for second and the top of her tylenol dropper would have to be number three.
2- No matter what I try she will not cuddle. She's just not wired that way, I guess. At night when I feed her she will typically fall asleep so soundly that I can finally get my fix. I don't mind waking up at night because I know I can hold her for as long as I want!
3- The one affectionate thing she will do also happens during feeding time. If she's really tired or if she's needing a little comfort, she will grab my hand and put it on her face. It doesn't happen every time but when it does it just melts my heart!
4- She loves to walk. No, she can't walk alone yet, but if you hold her hands she will walk FOREVER. She would rather walk than be carried. From about 4pm until bedtime, we walk laps around the house and heaven help us if I need to take a break. It's one of the few times she will get upset.
5- She loves people, especially children. The week in Utah was probably the easiest "mom" weeks I've had yet. She will just sit and watch the other kids play and smile the whole time!
6- So far she's a really great eater. There's nothing she won't eat. Peas are probably her least favorite and bananas are her number one.
7- Natalie LOVES her baths. She has loved them from day one. I think she would stay in there for hours if she were given the option. Recently she has started splashing and she's really good at it!
8- She is usually really good in the car. I think it might have something to do with the fact that she slept in her car seat when she was having all of the trouble with reflux, I'm not sure. I do know it makes it super nice to travel with a happy girl in the back seat!

Oh my goodness, what a fun post to read. I can visualize the pastry brush flicking slobber and her putting your hand on her face (that is the sweetest). I loved reading this and am soooo glad you recorded it for you and Natalie.
